With a formative background with two of the world's most recognized and respective corporate consultancy firms Jean-Louis brings the added dimension of being able to look at the enterprise as a whole, learn the Board's and senior management's objectives, and formulate exceptional talent strategies that translate into quantifiable ROI.

A Senior Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Alpeyrie recently has retired from the firm after 30 years working out of the Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and New York offices.  He founded the Technology practice in Europe and pioneered global assignments, executing searches in Asia, Europe and North America.

As a member of the Technology, Private Equity and Venture Capital, and Media and Entertainment Practices, Mr. Alpeyrie's clients have included companies from large to small, including start-ups, with major relationships including Apple, PeopleSoft, Disney, Tyco, Hachette ( publishing), Navteq (leading MAP provider for mobile applications ), DoubleClick, Harmonic ( video delivery ), Tom Tom (navigation solution provider), and Mettler Toledo (precision instruments). He worked closely with private equity firms DDJ (investment advisor for distressed companies) and Sid Bass & Associates (investment firm for technology, media and entertainment companies). He has also been an active sponsor of the American Film Institute (AFI) and the AFI Digital Lab.

Jean-Louis was also a member of Heidrick's Board of Directors practice.  His Executive and Board search experience offer significant synergistic advisory value to both management and executives in their quest for the "right fit" opportunities.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mr. Alpeyrie worked for Booz Allen Hamilton in Paris, New York, and Emerging Markets. He started his career as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company, after receiving his MBA from Haas School of Management at the University of California.

Currently, Jean-Louis is on the Board of technology startup companies in New York, Colorado and California. He lives in New York and is fluent in English and French.
